Thank you for sharing this, yes we do ...Hi Marsha,

Thank you for sharing this, yes we do have to open the windows on our worlds sometimes and share. The ripples on here, I believe, can stretch far and wide. I have had similar experiences, one was waiting for the results of an M.R.I. I had looking for possible brain tumours or M.S. I was very relieved to get the all clear on both of these and learn that my eye problem was glaucoma. Another was waiting with my daughter, for a lump in the breast to be diagnosed, also thankfully okay. I never use to talk to people in waiting rooms etc, but sometimes now I do.

God Bless - Nita.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02205365191840035777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6624281955555099888.post-38389417474997855392011-09-01T13:01:08.637-07:002011-09-01T13:01:08.637-07:00Marsha, this was beyond beautiful. You painted such a clear picture of the setting and the emotions - I felt like I was sitting right there in one of those chairs.

Yes, I've had moments like that. I can think of the time when I was called back after a mammogram for more pictures. All of us women in the waiting room were understandably anxious. I started the conversation - because I tend to *yak* when I'm nervous. We all talked about our mutual feelings - and I said a small *something* about the Lord. It turned out that we were all fine - but I often wonder if God used anything I said about Him in that moment. Sometimes we just don't know what a word of kindness, or a message of comfort might do in someone's life.

We send a stone into the pond - and God causes the ripples to spread out...

GOD BLESS!

(Is son OK?)Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00840994989201507494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6624281955555099888.post-52382566076321213792011-09-01T04:53:01.115-07:002011-09-01T04:53:01.115-07:00I have noticed in these situations that most peopl...I have noticed in these situations that most people do not seem to be comfortable talking. Some people want to talk and sometimes they can have the whole waiting room responding. If I'm waiting with someone else, I can be very patient. But if it is me seeing the doctor, I want it all over with quickly.

I hope all your son's results will be good!!!annhttp://everlastingmercy.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6624281955555099888.post-42583204739844407092011-08-31T17:59:29.517-07:002011-08-31T17:59:29.517-07:00This man obviously needed to talk and I believe yo...This man obviously needed to talk and I believe you were there at that particular time to be the listener for him. It's for sure you 2 have been through lots of waiting times in rooms like this one.

My hat is off to you and to K for your attitude and your acceptance. I didn't realise that was what was wrong. It must be very hard to deal with.
I used to work in a hospital as a radiography helper and occasionally worked in the MRI department so I know that the MRI scan can be a scary place. My best wishes to all of you. Hope it shows no infection in his bones.Elliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14143140451200120833noreply@blogger.com
